Morning Prayer with the Oblate Family: Thursday September 15th With Gerard Bennett
Good morning everyone. We join Gerard Bennett of the Oblate Lourdes Pilgrimage in Inchicore, Dublin, for morning prayer today on the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows.
Mary was told by Simeon “that a sword would pierce her own soul” – speaking of her own suffering and grief that she would experience witnessing the passion and death of her son. In a particular way today, we think of and pray for all those of us who are experiencing mental illness, a suffering that is often an invisible and silent one.
Preparation for the Lourdes pilgrimage is almost complete – please keep the pilgrimage in your prayers as we prepare to travel this coming Saturday and we also invite you to join us online if you aren’t able to travel at this time. See the link for more information:
Lourdes 2022 – Join us online from Saturday 17 Sept – Wednesday 21 Sept
