Morning prayer with the Oblate Family: Tuesday September 5th With Olga Slater in London
Good morning friends, we join Olga once again in London for today’s time of prayer together.
Thank you for joining us today from wherever you are. We in the family and community are so grateful that you’ve joined us so that we can share God’s word together and comfort and support one another by praying together and living as a community of faith and hope. So we thank you for joining us today.
Have you ever been afraid? Do do what baby chicks do at the first sign of the storm coming or a hawk hovering. A mother hen spreads out her wings and clucks to her babies and they run straight under her. The mother tucks every one of those little chicks safely under her. And we have the Heavenly Father who says he loves us and cares for us like that. When we are afraid, He tells us to run to him. We can nestle up under his arms and he will protect us.
Many thanks for joining us.
