Morning prayer with the Oblates, Easter Thursday April 21st With Fr Dermot Mills OMI
Fr Dermot Mills OMI, presents our time of prayer today. Fr Dermot is based in St Michael’s Parish in Inchicore in Dublin.
“Peace be with you.” – Jesus said to the Apostles as he stood among them following the resurrection.
The people of Ukraine have been experiencing their Holy Week the past two months, the fear, the terror, the uncertainty, brutality. Where are the signs of new life, for them? It could be the generosity of so many who wish to try and help in some practical way.
What has been the experience of people in the past two years? Where have you seen signs of new life, of the resurrection during this time of pandemic? It could have been those who so selflessly gave of themselves, the huge out pouring of care and compassion from so many looking after each other often at great risk to themselves.
Friends, thank you for joining and praying with us today.
