Morning Prayer with the Oblates, Monday June 14th With Fr Terry
We join Fr Terry in Kilburn for morning prayer. Yesterday we celebrated the feast day of Saint Anthony of Padua, one of the most well-known saints of the church and Fr Terry has recorded today;s prayer in front of a beautiful display of candles for the intentions of all those who participated in the celebration of the saints feastday.
“Jesus said come to me all you who labour and are over burdened and I will give you rest. Shoulder my yoke and learn from me for I am humble and gentle of heart. My yoke is easy and my burden light.”
Today we pray for an increase in hope, courage and strength from God who knows, God who loves us and who will never leave us.
