Morning Prayer with the Oblates: Monday November 1st, Feast of All Saints With Padraig Corcoran
We join Padraig Corcoran, Oblate youth worker, who works with the Oblate parish of St Michael’s and the Inchicore Pastoral Area in Dublin.
Today’s gospel gives us The Beatitudes and it is an appropriate reading for today’s feast of All Saints, where we commemorate all the saints of the church, both known and unknown. Let us reflect on the response of the little boy mentioned in Padraig’s reflection to the question ‘What is a saint?’ His response; “A saint is someone who lets the light shine through.”
Happy Feast Day to you all. Many thanks for joining us today.
