Morning Prayer with the Oblates, Thursday June 17th With Jarlath
We join Jarlath for our morning prayer on Thursday June 7th.
From time to time during his life Jesus would retreat to a quiet place to pray.
So, it was inevitable that the disciples would ask him for a teaching on prayer.
Today’s reflection with Jarlath Kivlehan is on the Our Father prayer that we are all so familiar with.
“Jesus said – when you are praying do not heap up empty phrases as the gentiles do,
Because they think that they will be heard – because of their many words.“ – Gospel of Matthew
Thanks for joining us this morning.
