Morning Prayer with the Oblates, Wednesday June 2nd With Angela
In our reflection this morning, Wednesday June 2nd, we are joined by Angela McCullough who leads us in our time of prayer. Angela works with the Oblate Lourdes Pilgrimage as a volunteer with the Kairos Community Trust, a London-based organisation who help people recover from homelessness and addiction.
In today’s reading we hear about the struggles of Tobit and of Sarah, and how both faced moments of deep despair, where they prayed for God to end their lives.
Angela shares through her own life, how God’s grace can transform us even in our darkest tribulations.
‘You are just, O Lord, and just are all your works. All your ways are grace and truth, and you are the Judge of the world.’ Tobit 3:1
Thank you for joining us this morning.
