Morning Prayer with the Oblates: Wednesday November 10th With Gerard in Dublin
Good morning friends, we invite you to join us for a short morning reflection. Today we join with Gerard Bissett in Dublin. Like the other nine in today’s gospel, perhaps many of us too forget to give thanks to God for all the good things in our lives, a roof over our heads, fresh water to drink, food to eat etc.
And one of them, realising he had been healed, returned, glorifying God in a loud voice; and he fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked him. He was a Samaritan. Jesus said in reply, “Ten were cleansed, were they not? Where are the other nine? Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?” Then he said to him, “Stand up and go; your faith has saved you.” – Luke 17:11-19
Thank you for praying with us today.
