Morning Prayer with the Oblates: Wednesday November 3rd With Lynn in London
We join Lynn Kyei Poakwah, a member of the Oblate Parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in West Kilburn for morning prayer today.
Today’s gospel teaches us about the cost of discipleship. Do we try and make Jesus first and foremost in our lives? Jesus wants us to care deeply about our family, friends and the world and those around us by being kind and caring towards everyone we meet. This might seem impossible at times, but with God’s grace we can do this.
“Anyone who does not carry his cross and come after me cannot be my disciple.” – Luke 14:25-33
Thanks for joining us in prayer today.
