Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Friday July 21st With Br Carl in Colwyn Bay
Good morning, friends, and welcome to this morning’s prayer from Saint Joseph’s Parish here in Colwyn Bay. We join Brother Carl and reflect on the gospel reading from today’s mass.
Today’s reading is a most profound gospel with which to begin our day. This gospel calls to mind a saying that is attributed to Pope Francis, that goes “a Christian today who is not a revolutionary, is not a true Christian”, because here we see very plainly and very clearly this revolutionary dimension
to Jesus’s public persona that he dares challenge the Pharisees
and the law…
Thanks for joining us this morning.
