Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Sunday July 16th With Fr Frank Ryan OMI
Good morning dear friends, and welcome to this Sunday July 16th morning prayer with Fr Frank Ryan OMI who is based in Colwyn Bay in North Wales.
Our scripture readings are really a love story. A love story that is ongoing, a love story between the divine and each one of us who are created to the image and likeness of God.
So the readings today should be taken in a very calm, reflected, relaxed mood, because at the end of this prayer, we should be closer to God than when we started this prayer.
“Thus says the Lord: ‘As the rain and the snow come down from the heavens and do not return without watering the earth, making it yield and giving growth to provide seed for the sower and bread for the eating, so the word that goes from my mouth does not return to me empty, without carrying out my will and succeeding in what it was sent to do.’” –
Isaiah 55:10-11
Thanks once again for joining with us for the Oblate Family Morning Prayer.
