Oblate family morning prayer : Tuesday July 4th With Bill Anthony in Our Lady’s, Herlev, Denmark
Welcome to this morning’s prayer with Bill Anthony, a member of Our Lady’s Church in Herlev, Denmark.
We join together for a few moment of prayer and reflection on the gospel reading of today’s mass – the Calming of the Storm.
And he said to them, ‘Why are you so frightened, you men of little faith?’ And with that he stood up and rebuked the winds and the sea; and all was calm again. The men were astounded and said, ‘Whatever kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him.’
In performing this miracle, Christ reveals his divinity. Meister Eckhart, Meister Eckhart, who was a 14th century mystic, asked us to look at it
a different way….
We hope you enjoy this morning’s reflection.
