Online Communications Workshop With the Oblate Communications Team
Dear friends,
The Oblate Communications team wish to invite you to attend a short, interactive communications and social media workshop on Tuesday November 21st (online via Zoom).
To facilitate as many as possible, we are offering two time slots to attend a one-hour workshop on Tuesday, 21st November 2023, an afternoon session and also, an evening session.
- 3.00pm-4.00pm
- 7.00pm-8.00pm
Some of the topics we would like to talk with you about are as follows:
- The latest updates on communicating through digital media
- What’s new in Social Media and how can we effectively utilise new developments to share the gospel message
- Have you been spammed or scammed lately? Some updates and security and awareness around online safety
- Parish and Ministry websites – some tips on how to get the most out of yours
- Sharing ideas, experiences and learning from one another in the overall context of our province
- Sharing ideas to engage with young people
This invitation is open to all who are involved in any way in Oblate mission and ministry. If there is someone you would wish to invite, please let us know or feel free to share this invitation with them. We simply request that everyone who would like to attend fill out the short form below so we have an idea of numbers for each session.
And although we feel that these types of events are almost always better and easier in an in-person setting, we would like to use this online space as an opportunity for all of us in the Oblate family in this province to meet together and share ideas from our own areas with one another. If you have any particular questions you might like to submit in advance you can add them here also or email communications@oblates.ie
Thank you for your continued support.
Oblate Communications Team
