Opening Service of our 2023 Pilgrimage Sunday 17th September 2023

Dear friends, the time has finally arrived! Welcome to the official opening of our 2023 pilgrimage. Our Pilgrims have gathered together finally after months of preparation from Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales and Jersey. Tonight’s service was an opportunity to gather for a quiet time of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament to thank the Lord for bringing us to this place. We are invited to come together to pray for one another as we prepare to begin our journey as ‘Pilgrims of Hope’.
Unfortunately, as there is no internet in St Joseph’s chapel, we were unable to live-stream this event. Please enjoy the video below. See you tomorrow for our second day of the pilgrimage and our first full day together as pilgrims of hope. We will have mass at 9.15am Irish/UK time.
