Morning Prayer: Saturday December 5th With Patsy Thomas
In today’s gospel we hear about how Jesus felt compassion towards the crowds who were harassed and dejected. Where do we find ourselves in this gospel? The gospel assures us that the Lord us with us in our own valleys of darkness, drawing near to us in his compassion. Or maybe I feel I might be among those who the Lord wishes to send out and work for his Kingdom.
Join Patsy Thomas today in Beaumaris, Anglesey for our morning reflection.
“And when he saw the crowds he felt sorry for them because they were harassed and dejected, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is rich but the labourers are few, so ask the Lord of the harvest to send labourers to his harvest.’” Gospel of Matthew
