The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Monday 11th March 2024 With Fr Eduardo in Darndale
Good morning. We invite you to join our Oblate Family Morning Prayer during this time of Lent. We join Fr Eduardo Nunez OMI of Our Lady Immaculate Parish, Darndale-Belcamp in North Dublin, who brings us our morning prayer on Monday 11th of March.
Gospel John 4:43-54
Go home: your son will live
Fr Eduardo reflects: “In the Gospel today we have an amazing experience of healing and of faith. Our prayer today is for those who are in pain and for all those who are going through a medical procedure, and for those that, in many ways, are suffering.
After listening to this gospel, we can ask ourselves when we do pray, how do we approach in Jesus? Do you approach the Lord with expectant faith, for full healing or pardon, or even for transformation in Jesus? Miracles are signs that manifest the power and the presence of the Kingdom of God. And today we see in the Gospel that when a high ranking official, who was very likely from King Herod’s court, heard the reports of Jesus preaching and miracles, he decided to seek Jesus out for an extraordinary favour…”
Thank you for joining us today.
