The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Monday September 4th With Olga Slater
Dear friends, let us join Olga Slater in London and we thank you for joining us today from wherever you are.
Today’s gospel challenges us. Let us ponder: have we stopped being amazed by God’s goodness to us? Have we become cynical and stopped noticing the daily small miracles around us? Have we become accustomed to gospel passages and are not inspired anymore when we read them? The people of Nazareth became enraged because they were challenged about their attitude being compared to those in Elijah’s time. They hustle Jesus out of the town. Ultimately, they refused the good news and were not willing to accept it.
Thank you for joining us this morning for our time of prayer together.
