The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Saturday 9th December 2023 With Mary Ryan
Good morning and welcome to morning prayer. We join Mary Ryan in Kilburn, London for today’s prayer.
Today’s gospel was Jesus’s commissioning of the disciples to their priesthood.
Mary reflects, “Reading this gospel extract, I was struck by the words ‘Go rather, to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.’ The marginalized people. St Eugene DeMazenod also had a preference for the poor, and he asked his Oblates to always remain close to the people.”
We hope you enjoy today’s time of prayer, thank you for joining us and have a great day.
