The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Sunday 10th March 2024
Good morning. We invite you to join our Oblate Family Morning Prayer during this time of Lent. We join Martina Cooley of Kairos Community Trust, who brings us our morning prayer from London, on Sunday 10th of March.
Gospel John 3:14-21
God sent his Son so that through him the world might be saved
Martina reflects: “The cross represents God’s forgiving and merciful love and invites us to respond with more than just compassion. It is an inspiration to us to to actually remove the suffering of others misery, not just from deep sorrow for them, but to try our very best to help remove their burdens. It encourages us to practice these same principles in all of our affairs and our own daily cross with joy and love, reminding us that we too can reciprocate God’s love in the way we love others.”
Thank you for joining us today.
