The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Sunday 29th December 2024

With Marie in Colwyn Bay

Good morning and Merry Christmas, dear friends! We invite you to join Marie for today’s morning prayer on the feast of The Holy Family December 29th. This week, the members of the Parish of St Joseph’s, Colwyn Bay will lead us in our morning reflections. 

Gospel | Luke 2:41-52 © 

“Mary stored up all these things in her heart” 

Marie reflects: ‘The search for Jesus by Mary and Joseph highlights a universal theme seeking God in times of confusion or distress. When Mary and Joseph cannot find Jesus, they are filled with anxiety. In the same way, in our own lives, we often feel lost and disconnected from God. Unsure of where he is or how to find him. Yet, like Mary and Joseph, we are called to seek God diligently.’
