The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Sunday 3rd September 2023 With Christine Hunt
Dear friends you are very welcome to our time of prayer together this morning. We join Christine Hunt from Holyhead, for a reflective time of prayer. We in the Oblate family and community are so grateful that have you have joined us, so that we can share God’s word together and pray together living as a community of faith and hope.
As we celebrate the gift our faith, let us remember in a special way those who are currently ill or isolated. Let us also take a moment to pray for the gift of peace which is needed in so many hearts and parts of our world.
During today’s gospel, we ask ourselves if we would truly understand the mission of Jesus if he was to tell us that he was meant to suffer whether we would question him in the way Peter does.
Thank you for joining us this morning.
