The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Thursday 30th November 2023 With Sr Anne Donnelly in Wistaston Hall Retreat Centre
Good morning friends, and thank you for joining us for prayer. This week, we join Sr Anne Donnelly DHS, from Wistaston Hall Retreat Centre, Crewe for our morning prayer.
So today we celebrate the feast of Saint Andrew, one of the first apostles to be called by Jesus. As we heard in the Gospel, Jesus said to Andrew and his brother Simon, who was called Peter. “Follow me and I will make you fishers of people. And they left their nets and at once followed him.” I’m sure somewhere within us we’re thinking how crazy they are for just leaving everything behind.
Thank you for joining us this morning.
