The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Tuesday 7th May 2024 With Ros Appleby
Good morning dear friends.
This morning, we join Ros Appleby in Birkenhead, England, for our Oblate Morning Prayer on Tuesday May 7th.
First reading | Acts 16:22-34 ©
Become a believer and you will be saved, and your household too
Ros introduces today’s scripture passage: ” Today’s reading is from the Apostles. I love the scripture readings during these Easter weeks. The way they are full of excitement and drama, they seem to explode again back into our lives. Well, 2000 years plus, after the resurrection, as we hear again, the accounts of how the lives of the early followers of Jesus were filled with joy and wonder, joy and wonder of believing in God. That’s in spite of how they suffered for their newfound faith.”
Enjoy the reflection this morning and thank you for joining us.
