“Does his Word still impress?” – Sunday Sermon
Most of us fall into this trap of quick disappointment occasionally. That’s why St Paul gives us rather challenging words in the Second Reading today. Hearing these words at the first moment, one can easily say that it doesn’t apply to his situation. But after a deeper thought, with a short meditation in faith and prayer, it can open us to a deeper understanding of God’s Word.
When we discover what is not apparent – we build up our faith. It happens especially when we look at the Word of God with prayer, trusting it’s given to us to build up our faith.
