Join Frankie MacDonald for Oblate Morning Prayer: Friday August 19th
Dear friends, good morning and welcome to today’s morning prayer on Friday August 19th. We invite you to join Frankie MacDonald, a member of the Oblate Lourdes Hospitalité, in Scotland for our daily few moments of prayer and reflection together.
“And He said to them, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second is like it: You shall love your neighbour as yourself.”
Today’s reflection is focuses on the qualities one might observe in gardeners – in their commitment and love to nurturing creation – at this time of year, many of us take great joy from our gardens or admire those of our neighbours. What can we learn from them and put into practice in our daily lives?
Thank you for joining us this morning.
