Morning Prayer
Morning Prayer for April 28th With Laurita
Good morning everyone, and welcome to morning prayer with Laurita, from Apostles of the Interior Life.
Laurita says that in this Gospel reading, the dialogue gets a little heated and the Jews are confused. Up to this point, Jesus has compared and contrasted himself with Moses, trying to bring the Jews to realize that there is something new that God is doing. But the Jews are really disturbed by what Jesus is saying. They say: How can this man give us his flesh? In fact, Jesus remains really steady even when these people struggle to understand what he’s saying. Laurita explores this reading more.
Thank you for joining us in prayer today.
