Morning Prayer
Morning Prayer for January 28th With Sr Anne Petit
Good morning, friends. We invite you to join Sr Anne, from London.
The Gospel reading today is from the book of Mark. It is of the time when Jesus and the apostles were on a boat during a storm. However, it is not just about the weather and a boat trip; it is a story about life – about faith and fear. Sr Anne explains how the greater storm is always the one that rages within us. “Peace, be still,” Jesus says. He invites us to change our ways. Faith does not change the storm, but it changes us and our response to the storm.
Today is also the Feast of Doctor of the Church, St. Thomas Aquinas.
Thank you for watching and praying with us today.
