Morning Prayer
Morning Prayer for January 9th With Caroline Shevelan
Good morning friends. We invite you to join Caroline, from Cumbria, for morning prayer today.
Today’s reading comes from the Gospel of Matthew, and catapults us from the manger to the start of Jesus’ ministry, with the baptism of the Lord. Jesus is baptised to bring good news to the suffering; he is sent out by a blessing from his father. Caroline goes into greater detail about the meaning of Jesus’ “sending out” and relates it to us.
Thanks for praying with us.
