Morning Prayer for March 11th With Kathy Barclay
Good morning everyone, and welcome to morning prayer with Kathy Barclay, from Scotland.
Today’s Gospel reading is from Saint Luke, and is about the parable of the Prodigal Son. In this parable, Jesus explores the mercy of God. It is about the response of the Father with a commentary from his two sons. The only way for the lost son rectify his squalid condition is to return to his father and beg to be a servant. The father, moved by love, embraces and restores his son. Kathy explores the parable in greater detail here.
Thank you for joining us in prayer today.
