Morning Prayer for March 9th With Br Carl Peter
Good morning everyone, and welcome to morning prayer with Br Carl Peter, in Rome.
Today’s Gospel reading is from Saint Matthew and is the story of Lazarus and the rich man. Jesus, in this passage, is telling us to open our eyes to those who are around us and to open our ears to the message of the Gospel. And it is to love thy neighbour. So let this reading be a reminder for us to pay a little bit more attention to those around us, and to recognise when somebody might be in need of help.
Thank you for joining us today in prayer.
