Morning Prayer
Morning Prayer with the Oblates, December 18th Fr Irvin Morastil OMI
Good morning everyone, and welcome to Morning Prayer with the Oblate family! Today’s video comes to you from Fr Irvin Morastil, who recently moved from Edinburgh to London.
Today is the fourth Sunday of Advent. The reading for this day comes from Gospel of Matthew, and is about how Jesus Christ came to be born. It talks about how Mary and Joseph were invited by the Lord to participate in his plan for the salvation of all. Regardless of who we are, God can take each and every one of us to participate in the fullness of His plans. Joseph may have had his own plans beforehand, but with confidence and faith in the Lord, he follows God’s plan. May we, too, be able to be as humble and faithful as the holy family.
Thank you for joining us today. Have a blessed Sunday!
