Morning Prayer with the Oblates: Friday July 16th
Friends, join Fr Frank in Colwyn Bay once more for morning prayer on Friday July 16th. We begin our reflection this morning to take a moment to become aware of how we are doing in ourselves today – how is your form for today, what is your attitude when facing the day? We bear this in mind when listening to today’s gospel which examines the attitude of the pharisees who were witnessed to an exposé of who Jesus really is:
“And if you had understood the meaning of the words: What I want is mercy, not sacrifice, you would not have condemned the blameless. For the Son of Man is master of the sabbath.’” – Matthew 12:1-8
Thanks for joining us this morning.
