Morning Prayer with the Oblates: Sunday November 14th With Christine Hunt
Dear friends, you are invited to join us for our Oblate Family morning prayer with Christine Hunt in Holyhead, Anglesey.
We live in anxious times. Many of us are anxious about viruses, variants, climate change and ageing. Jesus lived during an anxious time too. This Sunday’s gospel is a complex tapestry. Jesus’ lifeline was his father’s love the antidote to the anxiety of our times is God’s love and practical love in action, building the kingdom of God together.
“The stars will fall from heaven and the powers in the heavens will be shaken…I tell you solemnly, before this generation has passed away all these things will have taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.” – Mark 13:24-32
We hope you enjoy today’s prayer, thanks for praying with us.
