Oblate Family Morning Prayer: December 26th, St Stephen’s Day 2023 With Joanne in Inchicore
Good morning dear friends. You are very welcome to this Oblate morning prayer on this feast of Saint Stephen, December 26th.
For Christmas week, we join some members the Oblate Parishes of Inchicore/Bluebell for morning prayer. Today, we join Joanne Lanigan, Pastoral Associate in Inchicore for today’s prayer.
Today’s gospel is quite different from yesterday’s. Yesterday we gave thanks for Jesus, the child in the manger, for the light that came into the world, for God becoming one of us. But today we are reminded that we are followers of Jesus, the child that grew up and changed the world needs something from us. So what does it mean to be a follower of Jesus?
Thanks for joining us today and we wish you a very happy, peaceful and joy-filled Christmas season.
