Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Thursday December 28th 2023 With Fr Dominik
Good morning dear friends. You are very welcome to this Oblate morning prayer on the 28th of December.
For Christmas week, we join some members the Oblate Parishes of Inchicore/Bluebell for morning prayer. Today, we join Fr Dominik Domagala OMI for this morning’s prayer.
Today is the Feast of the Holy Innocents. Especially this morning let us remember all of those people whom we consider are strangers. It is a great reminder for us to recognise that the face of the Lord, the persecuted Christ can be found in all of those whom we encounter everywhere without any exception. It is also so important that we, also realise once again how tremendously valuable and important is every human life from the very beginning to the very end, that we will pray that all people’s lives, the youngest children, even in their mother’s wombs are cherished, protected, prayed for and appreciated. Perhaps also, it is a great day to think about the lonely mothers, those who are single on their own, to think about them, to pray for them, perhaps also to make any sort of help for their needs.
Thank you for joining us today.
