Oblate Morning Prayer, Monday January 24th With Chris Rolland in Leith
Friends, we invite you to join Chris Rolland, a member of the Oblate Parish of St Mary’s, Star of the Sea in Leith, Edinburgh.
So he called them to him and spoke to them in parables, ‘How can Satan cast out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot last. And if a household is divided against itself, that household can never stand. – Mark 3:22-30
What Jesus encountered here was a sense of ruthlessness and barbarity from people who were those who knew what to do in these situations. But Jesus spoke to them in parables to help them reflect on the mystery of the Kingdom.
