The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Monday of Holy Week, 25th March 2024 With Veronica
Good morning. We invite you to join our Oblate Family Morning Prayer during this time of Holy Week. We join Veronica Halloran from the Oblate Parish of St Mary’s Star of the Sea, Leith, who brings us our morning prayer on Monday of Holy Week, 25th March 2024.
Gospel John 12:1-11 ©
‘She had to keep this scent for the day of my burial’
Veronica reflects: “If we place our neighbor’s needs foremost, whatever the cost, then hopefully at our end, the Lord will see insofar as you did this to one of the least of these brothers of mine. You did it to me. The venerable Bede, a Benedictine monk of the eighth century root. We wipe the feet of those needing our help with our hair when we share what is superfluous to alleviate the wants of the needy.”
Thank you for joining us today.
