The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Saturday 29th July 2023 With Kay Curran
Good morning, dear friends and welcome to our morning Prayer. Kay Curran leads us in prayer this morning. She is part of the Oblate Lourdes Pilgrimage Team. Thank you for joining her in her Dublin home.
Today is the feast of Mary, Martha and Lazarus and we use their story in today’s Gospel to reflect on when is the right time to work or to relax. How many times has it happened in our own homes when we are trying to do everything while others are sitting around looking at us and saying, “I’ll be there in a minute.” Maybe we should listen to Jesus’ advice and relax a little more in our own daily lives and not worry as much. The chores will get done in good time, and in just a few weeks we will all be meeting in the Lord for our annual pilgrimage. Where we will be serving our fellow pilgrims.
Please enjoy this time of prayer with us and thank you for joining us today.
