Morning Prayer
The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Saturday 5th August 2023 With Paige live from World Youth Day
Good morning. Join Paige live from World Youth Day to bring us this morning’s prayer.
Today’s gospel is about the tragic beheading of John the Baptist. Although horrific, we can still relate that to our current day. John the Baptist was called by God to be a servant of God, to fulfil his command and to spread his word. We, too, as children of God, are called to spread his word, to fulfil his command and to serve God. The theme here in Lisbon is Mary went with haste. We too, are called by God to go with haste to spread his word to the next generation.
Thank you for joining us this morning.
