The Oblate Family Morning Prayer: Sunday 6th August 2023 With Jenny from Crewe
Good morning dear friends, and welcome to this morning’s prayer led by Jenny from Crewe. We are asked to remember the young pilgrims attending World Youth Day both in person and virtually in our prayers.
During today’s gospel The Transfiguration, God officially reveals that Jesus is his son to Peter, James and John. But this is too much for the disciples and they drop to their knees. Jesus takes the time to remind us that when things get difficult “Don’t be afraid”.
Thank you for joining us this morning.
