Morning Prayer with Sr Máire Hearty, Sunday July 4 Morning Prayer July 4
Join Sr Máire Hearty, a Sister of Mercy working in Darndale, Dublin for today’s Morning Prayer, Sunday July 4.
Máire reflects on today’s Gospel from Saint Mark (Mk 6:1-6), that tells how Jesus is not accepted in his own home town. Máire points to the lack of belief in Him by those who thought they knew everything about Jesus; he was not able to perform miracles there because people did not believe Him!
Máire asks: “maybe there is a part of me that doesn’t believe that Jesus can heal me” and so our prayer is that we truly trust Jesus so that we can bring whatever troubles us to him.
